Ruger BX-25
May 9th, 2011Ruger 10/22 owners, this is for you! Ruger has FINALLY started to produce their own 25 round magazines for what is probably the most popular .22 rifle – the Ruger 10/22 (also works with SR-22, and Charger Pistols). Not just is it a 25 round magazine, it’s a high quality 25 round magazine. With stainless steel feed lips – designed exactly like the BX-1 10 round rotary magazines, anti tilt follower, and a constant force spring, these Ruger designed magazines are sure to bring hours of joy to many a shooter! Been a long time coming, and very glad they are finally here! MSRP is $29.95

Flashbang Holster
May 5th, 2011Women seems to get the short end of the stick when trying to conceal carry. Well, as more and more women are carrying these days, more options are coming to the market – just for women! Coming soon is the Flashbang Holster. Although they don’t have a website yet, they are selling the Flashbang Ladies Bra Holster now on eBay for $40.00 (see link a bottom of post).
The Flashbang Holster attaches directly to a woman’s bra. The woman in the video is able to draw and fire in under 1.5 seconds – with minimal training! Check it out!

Smith & Wesson M&P22
May 3rd, 2011Saw over at Shooting Illustrated this morning, S&W is making a .22 version of it’s M&P Pistol line! Great news for M&P owners who want to practice with the same platform, but with a lower cost per round! I’m really glad to see more and more manufacturers making .22 cal. versions of their full sized weapons – instead of having to rely on after-market conversion kits.
Capacity is 12+1, comes with adjustable sights, ambidextrous manual safety, ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine release, and accessory rail – all for an MSRP of $419.00

Smith & Wesson E-Series 1911
May 2nd, 2011New to Smith & Wesson are the E-Series 1911 Pistols – specifically the SW1911SC E-Series. This pistol is a thing of beauty – as it’s MSRP states ($1369.00), but worth every penny!
Typical 1911 specs, plus some serious upgrades: 8+1, wooden grips, Melonite® finish, Oversize Extractor, Combat Ejection Port, S&W Patented Scandium Frame, Round Butt Frame, Tritium Night Sights, Titanium Firing Pin, Precis Trigger, and a Recessed Muzzle. All weighing in at a hair under 30 oz. makes this a very nice handgun!
I really like the “fish scales” on the slide – much like the M&P pistols. These give the shooter a much better grip when manipulating the slide, and doesn’t tend to eat the fingers as much. Front checkering of course adds a much better grip, along with the fish scales on the wooden grips. The rounded butt also makes it easier to conceal.
There are a few other new “E-Series” 1911’s from Smith & Wesson, but this one jumped out at me.
